Welcome to Feedvault ("the Service"), operated by ERIK GLOBAL VENTURES LLC ("we," "us," or "our"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your personal information when you use our Service. By using Feedvault, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Information You Provide

  • Account information (name and email address) that you provide when registering with email and password or through Google sign-in
  • Authentication information. If you use email and password, the Service stores a one-way password hash rather than your readable password
  • List names and channel configurations you create within the Service
  • Communications you send to us (e.g., support requests)

2.2 Information We Collect Automatically

  • Device information (browser type, operating system)
  • Usage data (pages visited, features used, time spent on the Service)
  • IP address and approximate location
  • Cookies and similar tracking technologies

2.3 Information from Third-Party Services

  • YouTube channel subscription data, only if an optional import feature is offered to you and you authorize it
  • Google account profile information, when you choose Google sign-in or authorize an optional YouTube import feature offered to you

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide, maintain, and improve the Service
  • Authenticate your identity and manage your account
  • Process payments and manage subscriptions (via Creem)
  • Send account, security, billing, product, and service messages and, when enabled and permitted, marketing, promotional, and win-back messages; manage email preferences
  • Respond to your support requests and communications
  • Analyze usage patterns to improve the user experience
  • Detect, prevent, and address technical issues or fraud
  • Comply with legal obligations

4. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share your information with:

  • Creem (Merchant of Record): To process payments, manage subscriptions, calculate or collect applicable taxes, and handle billing-related compliance
  • Cloudflare: To host and deliver the Service, store application data in Cloudflare D1, provide network security, and operate infrastructure logs
  • Loops: To store email contact and lifecycle information, operate lifecycle automations, and deliver account, security, billing, product, service, marketing, promotional, and win-back email
  • Google/YouTube: To provide optional Google sign-in and, if a subscription import is offered to you and you authorize it, access YouTube API Services on your behalf
  • Google Fonts: To supply web fonts on the marketing site; your browser may connect to Google when a page loads
  • Microsoft Clarity: To understand site usage through analytics and interaction data
  • Affonso: To attribute affiliate referrals and measure resulting conversions
  • Legal authorities: When required by law or to protect our rights, safety, or property

5. YouTube API Services

Feedvault uses YouTube API Services for channel and video metadata and, only if an optional import feature is offered to you and you authorize it, to access your YouTube subscription data. By using the Service, you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service. You can learn more about how Google handles your data by reviewing the Google Privacy Policy. You can revoke Feedvault's access to your YouTube data at any time through the Google security settings page.

6. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to:

  • Maintain your session and authentication state
  • Remember your preferences and settings
  • Analyze usage patterns and site interactions through Microsoft Clarity
  • Attribute affiliate referrals through Affonso. The marketing site currently configures the Affonso referral cookie for 30 days

You can control cookies through your browser settings. Note that disabling cookies may affect the functionality of the Service.

7. Data Retention

We retain personal information while your account is active and for as long as reasonably needed to provide the Service, secure it, resolve disputes, and meet legal, tax, accounting, or regulatory obligations. When an account-deletion request is completed, we remove the account's personal Feedvault data and request deletion of its Loops contact. We may retain shared channel and video catalog records that are not tied to the deleted account, and pseudonymous billing and operational audit records needed for fraud prevention, accounting, dispute handling, and legal compliance. Creem and other providers may retain information under their own legal obligations and retention policies.

8. Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal information:

  • Access: Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you
  • Correction: Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete information
  • Deletion: Request deletion of your personal information
  • Portability: Request a portable copy of your data
  • Objection: Object to the processing of your personal information

To exercise any of these rights, please contact us at support@getfeedvault.com. We may need to verify your identity and resolve active or uncertain recurring billing before completing deletion so that deleting an account does not leave a subscription able to renew.

If you receive a nonessential marketing, promotional, or win-back email, you can opt out through the unsubscribe link in that message. Opting out does not prevent essential account, security, billing, support, or service messages.

10. Children's Privacy

The Service is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child under 13, we will take steps to delete that information promptly. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us at support@getfeedvault.com.

11. International Data Transfers

Your information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than the country in which you reside. These countries may have data protection laws that are different from the laws of your country. By using the Service, you consent to the transfer of your information to the United States and other jurisdictions where we or our service providers operate.

12. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the updated policy on the Service and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Privacy Policy.
