YouTube playlist snapshot comparison and dedupe
See what changed between two lists you already have. Paste video URLs or import snapshots to compare additions, removals, shared videos, and their relative order, entirely in your browser.

Before snapshot
After snapshot
A selected file takes priority over the pasted text on that side. Use TXT URL lists, CSV with a Video Id or URL column, or exported bookmark HTML. A blank side is an empty snapshot. 5 MiB per file, 10 MiB total, 2 million characters and 10,000 entries per side.
Supply two snapshots to find changes. No live playlist is fetched.
| Status | Video | Before | After |

Reordered means its rank among shared videos changed; adding a video at the front alone does not count. Positions refer to original input entries before duplicate removal. “Removed” only means absent from the second snapshot, never deleted or unavailable on YouTube.
How to use it
- Put the earlier snapshot on the left and the later snapshot on the right. Paste one video URL or 11-character video ID per line, or choose TXT, CSV, or exported bookmark HTML.
- For CSV, include a Video Id or URL column and optionally a Title column. A selected file replaces pasted input on that side. Leave a side blank to compare against an empty list.
- Choose Compare snapshots. Review duplicate and skip counts for each side. The first occurrence of each video ID sets its input position.
- Filter to additions, removals, common videos, or reordered videos. Export every result in that filter as CSV or TXT, including results beyond the visible page.
A small example
The example contains one repeated video in the earlier snapshot. The later snapshot adds one video, removes one, and reverses the relative order of the two shared videos. Adding a new video before an otherwise unchanged shared sequence would not count as reordering.
What to know
- A playlist URL alone is not a snapshot. This tool never fetches playlist contents or accesses your account; provide the individual video entries yourself.
- Removed means missing from your second supplied snapshot. It does not mean a video was deleted, made private, or is unavailable. The tool cannot recover removed videos.
- Deduplication matches exact, case-sensitive video IDs across supported YouTube URL forms and drops later duplicates within each side. Titles do not determine identity.
- Reordered means the rank among common videos changed, not merely the absolute position. A moved video may change several common ranks; this is not a minimal edit sequence.
- Each side supports 10,000 input entries and 2 million characters. Files are capped at 5 MiB each and 10 MiB together. Very complex HTML over 150,000 text/tag tokens is rejected, and invalid or non-video links are counted as skipped.
- No upload, live availability check, or local storage is used. A source link leaves this tool for YouTube. CSV exports prefix formula-like text with an apostrophe for spreadsheet safety.
