Shape your study sheet

Download or print

Blank mode keeps your title and source. It hides the cues, notes, and summary from the sheet, PDF, and TXT exports without deleting what you typed.

Download PDF creates an A4 or Letter file on this device, with automatic page breaks and an embedded TXT copy. Print sheet opens your browser’s dialog; match the paper size and turn off headers and footers.

PDF supports the bundled font’s characters, including Latin, Greek, and Cyrillic. Some scripts and emoji are unsupported; right-to-left text needs Print sheet or TXT. Unsupported PDF text is flagged, never silently replaced. The screen preview does not show exact page breaks.

Your sheet is ready to fill in, or select the blank template.

A useful review habit

After the session, turn a few main ideas into questions in the cue column. On your next review, cover the notes and try answering those questions first. Then check the details you missed.

How to use it

  1. Name the topic and add a source, such as a video title, URL, chapter, or lecture date.
  2. Record the main ideas in Notes. Put questions, terms, or timestamp cues in the narrower left column.
  3. Write a brief summary after the session. To review, cover the Notes column and answer the cues from memory.
  4. Choose A4 or Letter and preview your sheet. Download a paginated PDF, print a filled or blank template, or export TXT. PDF creation happens on your device.

A small example

Topic: Feedback loops. Cue: “What makes feedback negative?” Notes: “A response counteracts a change in the measured quantity; negative does not mean harmful.” Summary: “Feedback describes a relationship, while delay affects how the system responds.”

What to know

  • This is a Cornell-style layout, not an official Cornell University template or an automatic summarizer. You write and check the content yourself.
  • Download PDF creates exact A4 or Letter pages, wraps long lines, and continues long content onto extra sheets. Each PDF includes a UTF-8 TXT copy. Browser printing uses your printer settings and may have different page breaks; inspect its print preview.
  • Blank mode keeps the title and source but omits cues, notes, and summary from the preview, print, PDF, and TXT exports. Your typed content remains in the editor until Clear or leaving the page.
  • PDF uses a bundled DejaVu Sans font with Latin, Greek, Cyrillic, and other supported characters. Unsupported characters and right-to-left text produce a clear error instead of missing or reordered text. Use browser printing or TXT for those scripts and emoji.
  • The tool does not save or upload your notes. Limits are 6,000 characters for notes and 1,800 each for cues and summary. Text is rendered literally; links and markup in your notes are not executed.
For assistants and developers

This is a browser tool with visible, labeled controls and local processing. Read the usage guide or machine-readable catalog for supported inputs, outputs, examples, and limits. No API key or server endpoint is available. A catalog listing is documentation, not automatic integration with every AI assistant.
