Review calendar generator

Give useful ideas another visit. Choose when to return to a topic, see the dates together, and take the schedule to the calendar or spreadsheet you already use.

Input Topics with optional learning dates · Default start date · User-chosen day offsetsOutput Chronological review preview · All-day ICS calendar · CSV schedule

Make room to revisit

One topic per line. Optionally add | YYYY-MM-DD for that topic’s learning date. Otherwise, the start date below is used. Up to 500 topics and 5,000 review events.

Offsets from the learning date, not gaps between reviews. For example, 1, 3, 7, 14 means review on days 1, 3, 7, and 14. Use 0 to include the learning day. Choose up to 20 different offsets.

Schedule preview

Your dates will appear here. Adjust the intervals to match your goals and available time.

All-day events, with no alarms added. Downloading does not insert anything into your calendar. Preview before importing; importing the same file repeatedly may create duplicates. These are your chosen reminders, not a guarantee of retention.

How to use it

  1. List the topics, lessons, or videos you want to review. Add an optional learning date after a pipe: Topic | YYYY-MM-DD.
  2. Set a default learning date for lines without their own date. Enter the review offsets you want, such as 1, 3, 7, 14.
  3. Build the calendar. Each number is measured from that topic’s learning date, rather than from the previous review. Dates are sorted for a quick workload check.
  4. Download ICS for all-day calendar reminders or CSV to edit in a spreadsheet. Import only after checking your dates and the number of events.

A small example

A topic learned on 28 February 2028 with review offsets 1, 3, 7, 14 is scheduled for 29 February, 2 March, 6 March, and 13 March. Leap days are preserved. A second topic can use a different learning date on its own line.

What to know

  • You choose the intervals. The example offsets are a starting point, not a personalized learning prescription or a promise of improved retention.
  • Dates are calendar days, including weekends. All-day events avoid timezone shifts; the tool does not choose study times or add alarms.
  • Maximum 500 topics, 20 unique offsets, and 5,000 events. Offsets may range from 0 to 3,650 days, provided all resulting dates remain between 1900 and 2100.
  • Identical topic lines are kept as separate items. Duplicate offsets are rejected so they cannot quietly create duplicate reminders.
  • Downloads do not insert events into a calendar. Re-importing may create duplicates. Nothing is synced, tracked, or saved after you leave.
